Blizzard with nuts

Such a nice weekend!  I'm not being sarcastic either.  After a disappointing winter last year after I first came out here, this go round is more then making up for it.  You can't beat a weekend where the snow keeps coming down and you don't have to go anywhere or do anything.  Good times.  Although I couldn't resist the lure of the outside as with any storm throughout the year. Pano me crazy!

Oh January.  Tonnes of snow (which means snow walks) and a decent amount of rain, primary coloured rodeos, new apples falling to replace older ones and lots of great meals.  If only I had taken more pictures to honour them.  Too bad I only think of that after I make them disappear.

We Hardly Knew Ye

No long goodbyes here.  Sarah emailed me earlier saying that the Fish Shop had closed.  What can ya do?  Apparently "Progress" knows best.  Lot of memories though.  One of our favourite things to do when we had visitors was to do a seafood feast.  Perfect timing with Sarah's dad coming this weekend.
