Take a Hike!

So we did.  Sarah and I got together with Jana and Squish to do a nice hike at Duncan's Cove.  Not too far outside of the city on Saturday afternoon.  The trail was dotted with a few WWII lookouts which brought out the best in our album cover posing.

Other than for that the weather was cool and breezy which made it perfect for thermoregulation. The sun was out which made it perfect for shutterbugging.

 

Mmmmm, this was pretty refreshing when I got back!

30 Forever!

Had a great 30th Birthday thanks to the best girlfriend in the world.  She invited some buddies from back home to come visit and celebrate.  Totally didn't see it coming.  Yes I did have a pissed off look on my face when Jer and Jon jumped out of boxes to surprise me.  Yes I did leave apartment and walk away.  Yes I did come back.  Yes I had a wicked dinner at the goggle with everyone who came out and fueled my glass breaking ability.  Yes I was smiling and did have a pretty awesome weekend.  On top of that on my Actual Bday which was on the Tuesday Sarah arranged for buddies back home to send me video greetings and put it all together.  This is one I'll remember for a long time.  And I didn't even see it coming!!!
