Happy "Mother's" Day!
So I was watching Breakfast Television briefly yesterday and they were talking about old Canadian food franchises that don't exist anymore. They mentioned Mother's Pizza from back in the awesome 80's. I have such fond memories of that place. I was at countless Birthday parties including my own at the one that was on Weber and Kinzie in Ktown.
So after 1 minute of BT banter that felt like a lifetime they mention that the franchise is being relaunched. So before I let my skepticism of new places trying to recapture past glory or my pizza place abandonment issues take over. I'll just say one thing. Pizza Party at Mother's!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HotDocs: YOU'VE BEEN TRUMPED
Went to my first hopefully not only doc at the hotdocs festival last night. It was a really good one. The trailer gives you the back-story. I recommend seeing it if and when you can. It's a kind of 'Big Shot Business Man has an idea and nothing will stand in his way to achieve this' narrative that really gives a telling view of how Donald Trump is able to bypass the law and basic human rights and force his way on almost everyone. Almost!
