No Subject. Just Viewables

Here's a couple of pics from the last 2 weeks.  Some were posted via freelance reporter Twitter, but it's been kind of quiet the last few weeks so just deal with it.

Pink Drink

On Friday I hit up a Mooseheads game with Sarah, Mike "the professor" (his wrestling name), and Squish (he doesn't need to wrestle). It was the annual Breast Cancer awareness game so the Metro Centre was decked out in pink including the ice.  We met up at the Goggle for grub and glugs before heading over to watch the game.  It was a good time as always.  Mooseheads have been on a tear this year and friday was no exception.  Game ended 4-3 in favour of the Moose, but they totally controlled the play against the Sherbrooke Phoenix.  And on the year Halifax is now 12-1 (just won tonight again) and are top of the Q. Hopefully they can keep it up and I hope to make it out to another game soon.

After we got back from Hiking on Saturday and stuffed our faces full of Thai food, we got ready for the 2012 edition of Nocturne. We started off at Uncommon Grounds, then went off to Pier 21 and walked along the waterfront before snaking our way to the Public Gardens.  Me feets be soree the neext dayee.

Take a Hike!

So we did.  Sarah and I got together with Jana and Squish to do a nice hike at Duncan's Cove.  Not too far outside of the city on Saturday afternoon.  The trail was dotted with a few WWII lookouts which brought out the best in our album cover posing.

Other than for that the weather was cool and breezy which made it perfect for thermoregulation. The sun was out which made it perfect for shutterbugging.

Mmmmm, this was pretty refreshing when I got back!
